A surprising blend of green tea and roasted brown rice, this traditional Japanese tea will surprise you with its toasty notes.
The legend tells that in the 15th century in Japan, a samurai was enjoying his tea when his servant, Genmai, accidentally dropped some rice into his cup. Upset, the samurai executed Genmai, but as soon as he tasted the blend of tea and rice, he was delighted. In homage to his servant, the tea was named "Genmaicha.“
This surprising tea can be enjoyed both hot and iced and goes particularly well with your meals.
