Description
This Grand Cru is harvested in Japan's Kagoshima prefecture. Although Japan is better known for its green tea, black tea is increasingly popular and currently accounts for 1% of the country's output. "Wakoucha" means "red tea", in reference to the tea's red hue!
This Japanese black tea reveals highly pronounced, fruity notes that bring to mind plum, apricot and orange, which then develop into woody, citrus hints.
