Laos teas

Laos cultivates tea in the North and South of the country. These two terroirs have highly distinctive characteristics. In the North, close to Yunnan, fine teas from the Assamica strain are cultivated by small local ethnic groups. In the South, tea cultivation has only recently been introduced.
