Inspired by an ancient recipe created in a Tibetan monastery, Tibetan Monks Tea is a rare blend with a unique flavour. Legend tells how the monks would prepare this blend of tea, plants and flowers in the greatest of secrecy. After several days of soaking, the leaves were carefully Plucked out and put to one side. By this mysterious alchemy the monks turned the tea into gold and gave Tibetan Monks Tea its exceptional scent.

My favourite tea, ever. I've never come across anything similar before. The smell of it is as important as the taste. I can only liken it it to Shalimar, the legendary perfume. It has a scent profile that is oriental, but not exactly spicy. To me there is vanilla in there as well. It is floral, but not sweet, it has a strong character, but it is never overbearing. It is beautiful both hot and cold. This tea is an absolute star.

Quite a pleasant type of tea. It has a soft, unobtrusive taste of vanilla and herbs. It is best drunk from a teapot, in small sips, in silence and reflection.
